Job Description

As a Dental Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless patient journey from the initial clinical exam to the completion of their orthodontic treatment. This full-time position requires someone with a Cert 3 and/or Cert 4 in Dental Assisting or several years of dental experience. Some late nights are required, but you'll enjoy a rostered day off (RDO) once a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Orthodontists, the Practice Manager, Administration, Clinic staff, and patients to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience.
  • Utilize advanced dental terminology to present proposed dental treatments to patients and responsible parties.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the transformative impact of good orthodontic treatment.
  • Communicate effectively, understand diagnoses given by Dentists or Orthodontists, and confidently enter treatment notes after presenting the patient's case.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the orthodontist and promote teamwork through cooperative and professional behaviors.
  • Provide support, supervision, and management to multiple team members throughout the practice.
  • Assist with dental procedures, follow-ups, recalls, and patient bookings.
  • Discuss orthodontic appliances and treatments with patients.

Qualifications

This full-time position requires someone with a Cert 3 and/or Cert 4 in Dental Assisting or several years of dental experience.
