Senior Consultant – MMB Accident and Health

A rare opportunity exists within the Accident and Health Consulting Team to service our Group portfolio across Australia. This unique opportunity will see you manage and grow a portfolio of Accident and Health clients to deliver world-class guidance and efficiency. As you onboard and learn the products and services we offer, you can expect your role to expand across complimentary lines to unlock more value to your clients and become the single point of contact for all their insurance needs.

We will count on you to:

Manage a portfolio of allocated Jumbo / Corporate Accident & Health clients plus allied People Risk policies Actively support the Principal Consultant with all aspects of managing Jumbo accounts Provide high quality customer service, claims advocacy and advice to all stakeholders Develop and drive the team vision and strategy, including renewal management, sales, talent management, operational excellence & channel management Achieve set revenue (budget renewal & sales targets) and expense budgets Contribute to the achievement of Divisional business plans and objectives Actively develop and generate new and expanded business opportunities Take accountability for the timely and accurate production, processing and delivery of client related materials and documentation Advocate for the MMB team to the rest of the Marsh Business

Day-to-day this might include:

Client interactions including calls, in-person presentations and meetings with C-Suite and Heads of HR Providing high quality customer service, claims advocacy and advice Providing superior People Risk consulting services Building strong relationships with all stakeholders, including internal (general brokers, management, global colleague network) and external (clients, claims administrators, and underwriters) customers to deliver exceptional outcomes Expertly managing account queries Developing a thorough understanding of client needs and the products and services we offer Regularly attending industry events and training May be some travel interstate

What you need to have:

Tier 1 FSRA Compliance Admission as a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker Insurance experience, preferably in Accident & Health Ability to adapt and learn new subject matter rapidly Strong negotiation, presentation and people skills Self-motivation to work autonomously while being part of a wider team
