About the role 
 

We’re seeking a Delivery Lead who will work closely with the Delivery Manager on the delivery of projects; maintenance and enhancements to a critical Transurban platform.

You’ll join an innovative team that delivers critical services to Transurban.

As our Delivery Lead, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work. 

Day-to-day, you will: 

  • Leading a delivery squad of Business Analysts, Developers and Testers

  • Assist the Delivery Manager in managing the delivery outcomes

  • Assist in uplifting delivery teams technical and delivery skills

  • Conducting code reviews and developing and maintaining high engineering standards

  • Assisting the Delivery Manager to plan the roadmap of work

  • Maintain strong and effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

 

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: 

  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology with a minimum of 3 years playing a leadership role in software development

  • Experience and leadership as a Delivery Lead, or Agile Team/Squad Lead or Engineering Manager

  • Experience in Customer, Billing, CRM domains – preferred

  • Experience in delivering complex programs of work

  • Strong understanding of software development practices, methodologies, and tools
