Head of Data
We are seeking an experienced Head of Data to lead the data function within a fast-paced, technology-forward organization. This is a critical role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive data strategy that supports business transformation, while balancing hands-on technical work with strategic leadership. You will drive innovation, enable data monetization, and ensure the scalability of data systems for future business needs.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement a forward-thinking enterprise data strategy, aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Data Governance & Compliance : Refine and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance.
  • Analytics & Insights : Oversee real-time data analytics to drive actionable business insights and support decision-making.
  • Data Architecture : Design and implement a scalable data architecture to support current and future needs.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development. You’ll balance being a mentor and a technical leader.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, finance, and risk, to address data needs and drive business outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong technical background and understanding across Azure data stack, including Snowflake, Data Factory, and Power BI.
  • Hands-on experience with data architecture, data modeling, and managing complex datasets.
  • Proven track record in leading high-performing data teams and implementing data-driven strategies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in engaging at the executive and board level.
  • Ability to balance technical expertise with strategic thinking to meet business objectives.
