THE POSITION:

The Warehouse Operator will receive, store, assemble and despatch incoming and outgoing goods from the warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurate receipting & dispatching of all goods
  • RF scanning 
  • Unload goods and check off against delivery dockets and goods return forms
  • Random quality checking of products received
  • Storage of goods, ensuring bin locations are accurate and there is good access to inventory 
  • Ensure inventory serial numbers and bin locations are recorded correctly
  • Ensure correct stock is reflected in the computer system
  • Preparation and packing of goods for dispatch from picking slips as per procedures
  • Manual/pallet shrink wrapping
  • Booking of freight consignments with carriers, and ensuring all items are correctly documented
  • Load and unload vehicle deliveries /containers
  • Correct use of all warehouse machinery and tooling
  • Prepare and assemble kits from pick-slips
  • Monitor stock levels 
  • Maintain warehouse 
  • Annual stocktake
  • Carry out monthly inventory cycle counts
  • Organise the transfer of materials
  • Follow QA system, its procedures and work instructions
  • Carry out any additional duties as may be requested

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Forklift licence - Essential
  • RF scanning experience
  • Basic computer skills - Email, freight booking portals
  • Experience using Great Plains computer system, highly regarded but not essential 
  • Manual pallet shrink wrapping experience 
  • Minimum 3-5 years warehouse experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow procedures & instructions
  • Mechanically minded to complete assembly of goods 
  • Current drivers licence

WORK TYPE:                  Permanent Full Time 

HOURS:                          7.30 am - 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30 - 2.00 pm Friday's 

SALARY:                        $58-63K + Super

PAY CYCLE:                   Monthly (15th of each month)
