About the Role 

Reporting to the Hospitality Experience Manager, our Host / Maitre D' will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support to our visitors on-site.  

Duties within this role include:  

• Welcome and greet guests of Chandon, assisting with reservation, walk-ins and seating arrangements;  
• Managing reservations and floorplans using Sevenrooms system, ensuring seamless table turnover and handling special requests as required;  
• Managing the flow of guests, keeping them informed on wait times and offering personalized recommendation to assist with our unique areas, menu and tasting selections;  
• Preparing for and hosting VIP and high value guests, inclusive of identifying and enriching the experience for our valued Wine Club members; 
• Collaborating with the front of house and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and awareness of current demand; and 
• Promoting specialist events, wine club membership and other initiative to enhance guest experience.  

Criteria

• Experience in hospitality/hotels with a customer first mindset;  
• Excellent written and verbal skills to deliver our distinct brand tone and style;  
• Exceptional customer service skills; 
• Ability to multi-task with strong organisation skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders; 
• Second language proficiency is advantageous.
