About the role

Join our dynamic Print & Create division as a Graphic Designer at Officeworks. As a key member of the Print Hub team, you will provide innovative design solutions for a wide range of products and customers, ensuring high commercial standards and exceptional service. This role will work collaboratively, full time, from our North Rocks office. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Creativity: Develop and implement artwork templates, deliver inspiring ideas and solutions, and manage your workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Customer Interaction: Accurately estimate timeframes and costs, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Print Hub team members, Store Teams, and Business Print Specialists, as well as liaise with external suppliers and customers.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize prepress knowledge, maintain up-to-date industry-specific knowledge, and ensure quality assurance checks on all design work.

About you

As a successful applicant, you will have experience in the following areas:

Equipment & Technology:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Expertise in Adobe Suite
  • Experience with Mac & PC environments
  • Familiarity with Officeworks Website and Helix Dashboard

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Certificate IV in Graphic Design (minimum)
  • Experience: At least 2 years in Graphic Design, with experience in print estimation and production of artwork for offset and digital print preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills; team-oriented with high energy and motivational fit; proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite; keen attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of style guides, retail environment, and ability to align creative concepts with business strategy.
