Our department provides a comprehensive pharmacy service to all patients of the hospital. A high degree of specialised service is provided in clinical areas, medicines information, antimicrobial stewardship, quality use of medicine, research and clinical trials. About the role
As a Clinical Pharmacist at the Women’s you will provide comprehensive pharmacy services to the clinical areas within your remit.
A regular day will see you:
Perform medication reconciliation processes, resolve medication related issues, provide medicine information and counsel patientsEnsure appropriate medicine usage through implementation of hospital policy, and through liaison with medical and nursing staffParticipate in intern and student programsInitiate and participate in clinical pharmacy research projectsAbout you

To be successful in this role you’ll bring with you:
A Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent plus current and full AHPRA registration without restrictions as a PharmacistGeneral pharmacy knowledge and experience relevant to the positionWell-developed time management and organisational skillsA keen interest in research or continuous learning, and the ability to support junior staff to developA positive attitude and professional manner in keeping with our philosophy of a strong customer/patient focusOur benefits
