In this role you will have the opportunity to develop your professional and research skills and work with knowledgeable colleagues. You will deliver assigned teaching responsibilities (on and off campus) and mentor junior academic staff while playing a significant role in reviewing and updating Public Health courses ensuring the curriculum is current, of leading-edge quality and reflects a depth and breadth of discipline expertise. Position Requirements
Lecturer – Position Requirements:
Possession of relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent in Public Health. Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary and Adult Education. Proven ability to teach and supervise postgraduate University students with experience engaging with tertiary students and supporting their educational development through multi-modal delivery strategies. Proven experience in and ability to teach in a wide variety of units including Systems Thinking, Communicable Diseases, Environmental Health, Health Promotion, Epidemiology and others as required. Demonstrated capacity to engage and network effectively with industry and community partners and stakeholders.Additional Position Requirements for a Senior Lecturer:
Possession of a PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent accreditation or standing. Thorough understanding of social determinants of health within a public health context.
