About the Role:
Step into the role of Technical Writer with our esteemed Telecom client. You’ll spearhead the creation and oversight of technical documentation and knowledge resources.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality technical documentation in various formats, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Implement and maintain document production, publication, and management standards.
  • Utilize project management methodologies such as AGILE and waterfall to coordinate documentation projects.
  • Apply change management methodologies like Prosci and ADKAR to support organizational transitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language.
  • Manage content in knowledge bases, including workflow management and search engine optimization.
  • Incorporate graphics, diagrams, and illustrations into documentation using tools like Visio, Photoshop, and Canva.
  • Drive knowledge transfer and microlearning initiatives through engaging content creation.

 
Required Skills/Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications or certification in a related field (e.g., Knowledge Management, Communications, Business).
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a technical environment, preferably in Telecommunications.
  • Proven technical writing experience (minimum 5 years) with expertise in producing technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with project management and change management methodologies.
  • Ability to read and write technical documents and explain complex ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Proficiency in producing content in various formats and media, including HTML, PDF, and Help files.
  • Experience managing content in knowledge bases and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with knowledge and content management systems such as Panviva, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging content for microlearning and knowledge transfer initiatives.
