Casual Ranger (Firebreak Inspections)

13 November 2023 to 29 March 2024 $44.28 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) What do our staff love about working with the City?

We are currently seeking a casual Ranger to work within the Ranger Services team. This position will conduct Firebreak Inspections and will work Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). The successful applicant should expect to work full time hours from November 2023 until March 2024.

To be considered for this position, applicants must include in their application a statement addressing the below listed essential selection criteria:

Experience as a local government Ranger or Fire Control Officer with a good working knowledge of local government bushfire control. Sound time management and organisational skills, with proven ability to prioritise multiple tasks. Sound written and verbal communications skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team.

The successful applicant will also be required to hold a current “C” class drivers licence.
