As a Metal Machinist at Koya Wheels, you will be an essential part of our production team, working to ensure the precise manufacturing of our custom wheels. Your role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining precision machinery, such as CNC machines, to produce components that meet exacting standards. You will need to read and interpret technical drawings, perform quality checks, and make adjustments to ensure the finished products adhere to the required specifications. Job Description:
- Set up and operate CNC machines and related tools to produce parts that meet precise production specifications.
- Program, modify, and adjust CNC machines using OneCNC software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operations.
- Inspect and verify fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance, and fit using precision measuring instruments, making necessary adjustments or corrections.
- Study drawings and specifications to determine suitable materials, methods, sequences of operations, and machine settings for production.
- Set guides, stops, and controls on machining tools and install prescribed cutting and shaping tools and dies in machines and presses.
- Diagnose faults and perform maintenance on machines, overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Erect machines and equipment on-site as needed, supporting installation and operation processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow.
- Collaborate effectively with the production team to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and workplace regulations.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the CNC machining industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with OneCNC software for programming and machine adjustments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a machining environment.
