The Role:
We are seeking an experienced National Safety & Well being Partner to lead the safety, health, and well being initiatives across our organisation. This role will work closely with key stakeholders to manage and mitigate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in safety practices. You will develop and implement systems and processes, deliver training programs, and influence the safety culture across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety, health, and well being programs.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Partner with operational leaders to embed best practices across all locations.
- Manage safety data, reporting, and performance metrics to ensure a proactive approach to risk management.
- Support crisis management initiatives, including pandemic response strategies.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to promote safety and well being throughout the business.
About You:
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for safety and well being, and a proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You bring strong technical skills in safety management, coupled with excellent communication and influencing capabilities.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in safety, health, and well being or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in safety roles within hospitality, FMCG, retail, or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety, health, and well being systems, risk management, and reporting.
- Experience managing crisis situations, including COVID-19 response.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A track record of delivering measurable improvements in safety performance.
