About the Role

Based in one of the Aurrum care homes in either Melbourne Victoria or on the Central Coast NSW and reporting to the Regional Director the National Lifestyle Manager will develop, maintain and oversee the delivery of a national framework and tailored programs for aged care resident lifestyle activities that provide an exceptional consumer experience for residents in Aurrum homes. 

Lifestyle activity programs will be tailored to suit resident choices and needs including but not limited to supporting themes such as dementia support, intergenerational activities and preventing loneliness. This position will also coach, mentor and provide operational support and guidance to Lifestyle Assistants and General Managers in care homes across NSW and Victoria.

About You 

In addition to the above, the ideal candidates will have:

Minimum Certificate IV or Diploma in Leisure and lifestyle (or equivalent) Knowledge and experience in the development of person-centred lifestyle activity programs for different groups across one or more care homes. Excellent knowledge of aged care operations and the aged care national quality standards Valid National Police check (specific to work in aged care) COVID-19 vaccination certificate Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Advanced general IT skills experience with internal databases and systems and the full range of the Microsoft Office suite (word, excel, power point). Flexibility to travel occasionally when required.
