The Solution Integrator (SI) is a client facing role and the single technical authority for solutioning existing client requests in DXC Technology.

They are the owner for all technical solutioning requests and the liaison between the Service Line, Delivery teams and the account/customer team for presales activities.

  • The SI takes the documented customer requirements, clarifies these as required and creates standard solution components and/or collects collateral from various technical inputs, to ensure alignment of the solution across the client’s requirements.
  • The SI combines the technical solution and any contract/SOW requirements into a compelling solution that meets the client's needs.
  • The SI must understand the existing delivery processes for the account and have a sound business understanding of how the solutioning and current pricing impact these. The SI undertakes peer and technical reviews of their proposal, obtains the required approvals, and then arranges delivery of the proposal via the account team to the customer.
  • SIs must have the ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple workloads (potentially across different clients), have a track record of delivering medium complexity IT solutions and possess a broad skill set across different technologies and project delivery models.

SI experience would ideally cover one or more the following areas:

  • Cloud
  • Applications; Analytics
  • Workplace and Mobility
  • Automation
  • Security
  • Network

Note: You should have full working rights at the time of application and this role will commence in 2025

Role Responsibilities

  • Production and maintenance of high-level solution strategies, determining key differentiators that will resonate with the client, to ensure solution components optimally and comprehensively fit opportunity requirements and resolve client business challenges
  • Leads internal workshops, as appropriate, for medium complexity deals, utilising outputs to interact with client stakeholders to qualify, influence and shape decision criteria and expectations associated with business/technology improvements and the value of DXC solutions
  • Effective collaboration with the account to design the solution and agree on key solution parameters prior to estimating activities
  • Creates the solution collateral:
  • Leverages re-usable collateral to estimate standard work activities and reduce overall solution effort
  • Captures various solution components such as risks, assumptions, contingencies, effort estimates, bill of labour/materials, duration and lead time, vendor quotes, etc.
  • Collects solution content from other SMEs and aligns the various solution components to produce a single cohesive solution
  • Populates a cost model if required for one-time project labour and procurement items.
  • Conducts and participates in peer reviews on solutioning content as applicable
  • Conducts Technical Solution Review
  • Supports governance activities, negotiating with governance leaders on deal needs and driving a successful outcome as required
  • Provision of ongoing assistance to the delivery teams during transition by providing guidance on 'intent,’ previous client discussions and drivers for design decisions.

  • Can translate a customer’s business or technical requirements and apply those to appropriate solutions
  • Works well under pressure and thrives in achieving tight deadlines
