The Opportunity

The Dexus Risk team is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the Dexus Risk Management Framework across the Group. Focusing on operational risk, the Risk Manager will work in partnership with the business to identify and assess risks and recommend solutions to better manage those risks

  • Stakeholder engagement across all areas the business, working with the business to appropriately identify and assess risks and controls
  • Support risk mitigation and continuous improvement, including monitoring risk treatment plans
  • Facilitation of risk workshops and meetings
  • Maintenance of corporate risk profiles for key and operational level risks across the business
  • Risk advocate and role model for proactive risk management culture – support and promote Dexus’ risk culture and the application of the Dexus Risk Management Framework
  • Support the delivery of timely, accurate and relevant risk reports to Management, Executive stakeholders and Boards, including risk appetite monitoring and key risk profiling, to provide management with risk insights and practical actions

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in a corporate risk and/or assurance role in a large and complex organisation (related industry or ‘Big 4’ professional services experience would be highly advantageous, but not essential)
  • Experience delivering corporate risk profiling for key and operational level risks
  • Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders and a proven ability to critically assess and challenge where necessary
  • Comfortable facilitating meetings and forums with strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Proactive and continuous improvement mindset, driven to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to work across the high level, to achieve desired results
  • Ability to work within a team and independently to resolve complex issues
