Job Description

What you’ll do:

 

Reporting to the Brand Specialist, this role is within a team of marketing professionals. You will play a crucial part in enhancing our brand presence and executing our communications strategy.

This position is perfect for someone who has a sharp eye for detail. Your weekly activities will be diverse and include developing content strategies, creating content, briefing agency partners, reviewing creative work, SEO, web publishing, content authoring, asset management, and managing integrated campaigns across various online channels.

This an exciting opportunity for those who have an interest in marketing, guest experience, and tourism, with the ability to travel to some of Australia’s best holiday locations as part of the role.  Our preferred candidate will be able to tick these boxes:

  • Social media management: Strategise, plan, and schedule, social media content on all platforms to align with NRMA Parks and Resorts brand activities, ongoing campaigns, and industry trends.
  • Engagement reporting: Takes ownership and is confident in analysing and presenting social media engagement results and industry-trending content.
  • Content creation: Demonstrates the ability to edit photos and videos for use across social media and web content where required.
  • Copywriting: Craft engaging captions for social media, campaigns, and webpage content to drive brand engagement.
  • Influencer management: Oversee the NRMA Parks and Resorts content creator marketing program, including influencers and PR famils.
  • Brand awareness: Enhance brand presence through effective collaboration with charities events, and other third-party partners.
  • Blog management: Experience with webpage content, editing, development, SEO keyword, and Generative AI integration.
  • Technology: Works in synergy with a variety of CMS tools, such as Falcon, Jira, Adobe, Canva, and the Microsoft suite.
  • Finance: Monitor budgets, create POs, and manage finance tracking via Microsoft Excel and finance programs.

What you’ll bring:

  • 2 years + in a similar role – industry experience will be an advantage
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, tourism, or similar field would be highly advantageous
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and sound knowledge of social media platforms, highly regarded
  • A can-do attitude and an ability to flex style depending on your customer or audience
  • Highly motivated & energetic, solutions-oriented self-starter with an adaptable teamwork style
  • Great communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
