About the role
We currently have an opening for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance.
Key responsibilities
Assist the Project Quality Manager with the implementation of the Project Quality Plan and the development of quality and completion deliverables Assist in reviews of ITPs, NCRs, ITRs, Quality Management Plans, Procurement documentation and construction conformance documentation. Provide technical advice/support to the Delivery team on quality related matters. Guide, train and support the Delivery Team on Quality and completion processes Assist engineering team with preparing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), inspection checklists and work packs to ensure quality requirements are captured Coordinate closure and ensure completeness of all construction lots Identify areas of quality improvement and assist in corrective actions for areas that are deemed non compliant Produce quality reports and manage the projects quality KPIs Conduct Quality meetings and trainings to Subcontractors and other functions Participate in Defect Inspections and Surveillances.About you
Ideally you will hold a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline Significant technical experience within a project delivery environment. Solid experience in Quality and Completion roles Technical knowledge to interpret drawings, specifications, and quality records Previous experience with Project Document Management Systems Internal Auditor Qualification Experience as a Lead Auditor is desirable but not mandatoryBenefits
