As a Commercial Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making across various aspects of the business.

The Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitor performance, and customer behaviour to identify potential opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • Financial Modelling: Create and maintain robust financial models to evaluate the profitability and feasibility of various business initiatives.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to monitor financial performance against established targets.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams to collect data and insights necessary for comprehensive analysis.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights aimed at improving overall business performance.
  • Pricing Strategy Support: Contribute to the development and optimisation of pricing strategies through rigorous, data-driven analysis.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Engage in various projects and initiatives to support the organisation's objectives and drive business success.

The Requirements:

  • CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years' experience in an analytical function.
  • Proven experience in a similar analytical role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and quantitative techniques.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (essential) and exposure to Power BI and/or Tableau (beneficial).
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders.
  • High level of proactiveness, time management and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is beneficial.

To Note:

  • Only Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this role.
  • They operate in their Greenacre office 5 days a week.
  • There is free parking provided on-site.
