Responsibilities
As the Team Leader - Home & Living, you will mentor and guide a team of Disability Support Workers to deliver outstanding supports to our clients. You will liaise with families and carers, maintain accurate records, oversee rostering processes, and support the performance management process. Utilising various internal systems, you will ensure all workers are informed and trained in changes to support needs.
You will also play a key role in supporting the implementation of projects and programs that promote inclusion within our supported living arrangements.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a motivated, value-driven, and proactive leader with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. The ideal candidate will have experience in disability support services and a strong track record of leadership. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential for success in this role.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and internal systems
- Dedication to promoting inclusion and empowering individuals with disabilities
Salary & Benefits
This position offers an annual salary between $85,000 to $91,000, plus superannuation, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, you will enjoy 5 weeks of annual leave, flexible public holiday leave options, a paid day-off for your birthday, salary packaging benefits, access to an Employee Assistance Program, and opportunities for professional development.
