You have significant experience in leadership as well as implementing communications strategies to build and nurture a brand's image and recognition in the Oceania market. You have strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to be persuasive, engaging and motivating with others, particularly in the realm of luxury PR, Media and Communications.
What are we expecting from you?
Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Director, Oceania, you will be responsible for the Sydney-based Communications Team and their activities as well as their performances in line with the Maison strategy and standards of excellence. In this function you will:
• Lead the development and implementation of the communication strategy with the Australian and New Zealand market, which will include:
o proposal, allocation and management of the communication budget to achieve the strategic objectives in terms of identity, image and sales
o Setting and reviewing priorities and KPIs pertaining to all media channels and events.
o Presenting to local management and regional counterparts o action plan and pitches to get buy-in.
o Defining and implementing all local events and in coordinate with regional counterparts to ensure a high quality of execution and level of appreciation.
• Spearhead the building of Maison image locally:
o Formulating product launch, partnership events, commercial events, VIP trips in partnership with Client Development Team.
o Establishing strong connection and negotiation with editors, press, stylist and opinion leaders as well with media agency
o Planing and implementing a strategic media plan including print, digital and social.
o Overseeing press pitches, PR material, photo-shooting and all PR related projects.
o Developing and leveraging relevant strategic partners to nurture the Maison’s awareness and stature locally.
• Team Management
• Managing, motivating, inspiring and developing Communications team members
• Defining and delegating tasks efficiently as well as coaching to ensure achievement of concrete objectives
• Providing timely, factual feedback on both skills and behaviour in order to help each team member develop in line with Maison’s expectations
