PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION•The role of the Leading Hand/Crew Leader is to play a pivotal role in managing the safe and compliant delivery of field services to Service Stream clients. •As a Leading Hand/Crew Leader, you will be working closely with the Field Manager and support staff in managing the field metering activities.•It is essential that you collaborate closely with the field workforce you are responsible for to ensure that all operational requirements are not only met but also optimised. •Additionally, you must maintain strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and all relevant statutory, legislative, and regulatory requirements. •Your support and teamwork are critical in delivering exceptional service to our clients while upholding our commitment to compliance, safety, and excellence.

About the Role

KEY Responsibilities·Lead, direct, manage and coordinate the daily activities of direct report employees and subcontractors under your control performing metering and ancillary services. ·Manage employees, and subcontractors to ensure completion and customer KPI’s are being met or exceeded. ·Mentor and develop your direct reports as necessary to achieve organizational and customer objectives.·Maintain an active field presence with direct report employees and subcontractors.·Conduct in progress and post field audits as per customer KPIs and update the results in the relevant systems. ·Coach and mentor team members to improve capability including coordination and delivery of training of all staff and sub-contractors.·Promote a systematic approach to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Issues across team, adhere to all HSE Policies & Procedures.·Ensure the standard of work in the field is of high quality and in accordance with work practices and standards required by the Client and the Company.·Ensure current work practices are implemented in the field and recommend changes to ensure that any activity is performed in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.·Provision of technical support, field training and auditing programs of Meter Technicians.·Produce and disseminate relevant briefings, updates, and information to all staff and subcontractors.·Participate in operational meetings with Clients (as required).·Develop, coordinate, and manage Toolbox meetings in conjunction with the Field Manager.·Act in accordance with relevant Occupational Health & Safety Legislation and the company’s matrix of OH&S responsibilities.·Act in accordance with relevant Environmental Legislation and the company’s matrix of Environmental responsibilities.·Perform all specified duties under the Company’s ISO accredited Management System.·Review and report on incidents raised both internally and externally.
