We are seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join the team in Canning Vale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

Perform risk assessments of equipment, plant and processes. Develop SWI (Safe working instructions) for machinery and equipment , other processes Develop and participate in Tool box discussions with production and operations staff. Develop VOC (Verification of Competency) for process and coordinate their implementation. Develop and maintain skills matrix for all production and operation staff and coordinate required training Ensure all incidents are recorded in HSE24 (incident recording system) and are validated within required timeframes and support in reporting Notifiable Incidents, and Performing and facilitating incident investigations using ICAM and/or RCA methods. Assist with closure of corrective actions and incident investigations. Management & Implementation of the Quality systems within the Canning Vale Manufacturing unit. Compilation of reports to assist management with reviewing the performance of Quality Management Systems and HSE systems. Preparation and presentation of Quality Assurance (QA) and/or Quality Control (QC) training for Canning Vale personnel, including new starters and existing personnel. Initiation, Implementation, Control and Maintenance of the Quality Assurance System including attendance/adherence to Procedures, Work Instructions, Safe Work Instructions, Inspections, Testing and other documentation relating to quality of products manufactured in Canning Vale factory. Maintenance & Review of all Documentation for the Canning Vale Factory located in the QMS Database via Metso shared drive and applicable sites. Develop action plan for Quality incidents based on root cause analysis, validate actions implementation, and evaluate effectiveness. Collaborate in developing annual QHSE plan and lead plan implementation. Manage customer complaint log and achieve set timelines for closing root cause analysis on Customer claims. Manage and record manufacturing rejects as part of manufacturing, perform Root cause analysis and report to relevant personnel. SAP Quality notification process ownership to capture / report non-conformities. Monitor risk assessments, environmental aspect and impact assessments, drills and periodic checks and surveys etc, and lead significant risk assessments and monitor the response of Corrective Actions Prepare weekly/ monthly QHSE performance reports and advise management for KPIs progress and areas for improvement, and Maintain and update Rapid Induct training database and provide management with weekly training and competency compliance report

WHO YOU ARE:

Essential

Degree in Engineering or equivalent Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical/manufacturing industry with focus in Quality, Health and Safety systems and QA/QC WHS Cert IV or equivalent Problem solving and positive attitude to change and learning Analytical mindset for problem resolution & self-motivated QMS audit experience

Desirable

Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or above Working in a matrix organisation Knowledge in LEAN or relevant experience. Internal or lead QMS Auditor qualification SAP experience
