UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance business are seeking applications for a Boilermaker – TIG welding experienced to join our rail components team based at our facility in Broadmeadow, Newcastle NSW.

This roles will be a full time, permanent role offered under UGLs Newcastle Operations Enterprise Agreement working Monday – Friday on a 9 day fortnight, Monday – Thursday 5.30am – 2.30pm, Friday 5.30am – 1.30pm and every other Friday off.

About the role

 

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager this role will see you working be working in the winding section, TIG weld armatures and general hand in workshop, welding will be approx. 70% of work load

 About You

·         Australian recognised trade certificate and/or hold a Certificate of Proficiency – Metal/Welding Trades

·         Ability to Interpret Engineering Drawings

·         Experience with operating overhead cranes or jib cranes

·         Ability to work to a fast-paced production schedule

·         Good communication skills & excellent work ethic.

·         Ability to work in a team environment
