The role

The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical claims management advice and collaborative consultation to ensure prompt and compliant claims finalisation procedures are monitored and adhered to.

You'll be responsible for

  • Working with other Technical Specialists and managers in ensuring the effective management of claims and advocate the use of alternate strategies as required to progress the claim towards timely finalisation.
  • Providing technical claims management advice by responding promptly and accurately to claim referrals.
  • Assisting managers as required, in identifying and implementing new ideas, which create value for customers, staff and/or Allianz.
  • Contributing to the achievement of the team's financial targets and KPIs as per the relevant deed, services contract, and incentive schemes.
  • Working closely with the Managers and Claims Managers to ensure that the team manages all claims in accordance with legislative requirements and common law practice.

About you

  • You will have technical experience in driving performance and developing strategic initiatives 
  • Demonstrated liability or personal injury management expertise in workers compensation
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Experience in strategic thinking and driving quality claims outcomes
