Business Analyst

An opportunity is available for a Business Analyst with 2 or more years of experience who is looking for the next exciting challenge in their career amidst a company-wide technical transformation.

In this role, you will collaborate across the entire Amart business to understand its evolving technology needs. Your aptitude in listening, documenting, and developing requirements for large projects, software development initiatives and solving day-to-day problems will be pivotal for success. You will contribute to both small-scale and large-scale projects, as well as provide support for business-as-usual activities when needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Mapping of current and future state business processes (As-Is and To-Be)
• Evaluate business process requirements gathered from multiple sources
• Decompose high-level requirements into detailed user journeys/requirements
• Work with developers and solution architects to ensure a common understanding on business requirements and scope of the work
• Providing testing services
• Assisting end users with handover of technical changes or new systems

About you:

• 2 or more year’s experience as a BA with a technical focus across BAU and projects
• Impressive interpersonal skills to work with and contribute to a team environment
• Excellent engagement, listening and communication (written and verbal)
• Ability to produce formal documentation (user stories, data flows, swimlanes, etc)   
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to elicit requirements from a non-technical business audience
• Knowledge or experience working with software development, retail systems, ERPs and integration platforms would be highly regarded
