Maintenance Fitters – Relocate to Australia

We have a number of opportunities available to join one our high performing maintenance teams at CSR, at various locations in Sydney, Melbourne and regional NSW.

These positions will be full time and will provide you with an opportunity to join CSR as we continue to grow.

Locations available:

  • Sydney – Western suburbs (Sydney lifestyle with more affordable living; enjoy access to the city and live regionally – work in the middle)
  • Melbourne – South Eastern suburbs (a short drive to the Mornington Peninsula, as well breathtaking nature trails that exist within the Dandenong Ranges)

Some of the general responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance on all mechanical machinery within the factory
  • Working closely with the maintenance team to analyse performance issues and develop and implement strategies for improvement in production and efficiency.
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting to limit downtime and improve the operational effectiveness of the factory
  • Assisting in ensuring regular maintenance programs are carried out in accordance with the maintenance plans, and to the correct standard

About you:

  • Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
  • Experience around fault finding
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Must be a NZ Citizen to be eligble to move and work in Australia
  • A hands-on attitude, strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both autonomously & as part of a team
  • Motivated to contribute to creating a great product that helps Australians and New Zealanders bring their dreams of home design to life.

Our Masonry & Insulation Business Unit comprises of Bradford Insulation, PGH Bricks and Monier Roofing. We manufacture and market a full range of products for residential and commercial applications including a large range of products and systems that cover insulation, ventilation, solar, bricks and rooftiles.
