Part-Time Kennel Hand Position at ARH Wollongong

Are you passionate about animals and seeking a rewarding part-time opportunity? ARH Wollongong is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as we head into the summer months

We are a well-established small animal emergency hospital providing emergency and overnight care for the entire Illawarra region, committed to providing the highest level of care to our furry friends

Responsibilities:

• Flexible part-time schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of kennels and animal living spaces
• Provide essential care and attention to the well-being of animals in our facility
• Assist in feeding, grooming, and exercising animals
• Monitor and report any changes in behavior or health of animals to the veterinary team
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for both animals and staff
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless care for our patients

Requirements:

• Passion for working with animals and providing top-notch care
• Ability to handle and interact with various animal breeds and temperaments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not mandatory
