About the Role

We are seeking a part time Trade Sales Assistant who is passionate about providing excellent customer service to join our Dulux Trade Centre in our Mount Louisa, Townsville QLD store. If you are energetic, driven, have a strong work ethic and a passion for people then this role is for you. This role will include some warehouse duties and customer deliveries so a clean current drivers license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong working relationships with depot/agencies
  • Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained
  • Cash handling / EFTPOS
  • Accurately mix and tint paint
  • Customer deliveries
  • Warehouse duties

Skills and Experience

You’re confident with people, have great communication skills and can easily build strong relationships with peers, customers and clients. You're able to demonstrate a level of physical ability to work with our paint and other heavy products in store at times

Retail Trade Sales experience would be preferred however we are willing to provide on the job training on paint products, application and hardware. Most importantly, you’ll:

  • Possess an interest in our products
  • Enjoy building relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Have demonstrated experience in a customer facing role
