About the Role:

Intensive Care Unit Registrar plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care in ICU environment. This is a tertiary level, mixed adult unit, accredited by the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM), admitting over 2500 patients annually.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical management of critically ill patients under supervision.
  • Offering supervision and training to junior medical staff and medical students.
  • Participating in a structured teaching program tailored to individual training needs.
  • Engaging in rotations through Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, and potentially other specialties like Anaesthesia and Emergency Medicine.
  • Contributing to clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

We are looking for doctors who:

  • Are registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA via Competent Authority Pathway
  • Have completed three years of post-graduate medical experience.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
