Civmec has secured the award of a major construction contract for the Covalent Lithium Project at Kwinana. To support the delivery of this landmark project we are seeking applications from experienced Insulation  Supervisors  to join our existing construction team to oversee Insulation construction requirements for the project.

 

  • Immediate start
  • Expected project completion 2025
  • Locally based Monday – Friday 50 hours per week (overtime paid)
  • Opportunity to be a part of Civmec’s largest Civil, SMP, and Electrical Construction Project and join out growing construction team

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Assist and oversee the planning and organisation of insulations works onsite
  • Conduct regular inspections of insulated equipment (pipes, tanks, etc.) to ensure that works are carried out according to client specifications
  • Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with client representatives.
  • Liaise with client representatives/Project Engineers regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
  • Prepare and edit insulation plans, maps, charts and drawings to client specifications
  • Develop and review documentation necessary to facilitate work carried out
  • Compose accurate progress reports (weekly and monthly) and/or as directed
  • Understand and implement quality control techniques

 

About You

 

Essential

  • Trade qualified Thermal Insulation Engineer or equivalent
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in a similar role
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite
  • Developed interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in the construction, mining and resource industries on large scale projects
