Our Pact Packaging division is pioneering a whole of product life cycle approach to sustainable packaging. Partnering with global brands to local producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into everything we design and manufacture.

We specialise in the manufacture and supply of rigid plastic and metal packaging servicing for the consumer and industrial sectors.

Job Description

We have a great opportunity to lead our Laverton site. With an experienced and driven team, your primary focus will be to drive operational improvements across the site acting as the catalyst for change and continual improvement.

This includes the constant review and unpacking of processes to question the status quo and unlock reliability, capacity and maximise plant performance.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Ensure all employees understand their contribution to Safety First commitment. Translate PACT Group’s short and long-term strategic objectives into a plan for year-on-year success across every area of plant operations. Develop, lead and drive continuous improvement road map with direct impact on Safety and P&L. Effectively manage site-based project initiatives Provide strong people leadership and demonstration of Pact values in decision making and behaviours High level data analysis identifying every possible opportunity for manufacturing and financial efficiency. Actively contribute ideas that improve the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the Plant and Divisional team.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

Degree qualified in Manufacturing Operations, Engineering or similar (highly regarded)Demonstrated manufacturing warehouse operations management experience in a similar fast paced industrial environment Experience and demonstrated understanding of practical application of LEAN and continuous improvement across all functions Innovative and continuous improvement mindset and previous experience executing continuous improvement initiatives A strong track record in building high performing cross collaborative teams Experience in managing people across and ER landscape Senior level business acumen with previous P&L responsibility
