The Opportunity

Join our dynamic team in Melbourne's Northern suburbs and play a crucial role in our ever-growing success. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the position of A Grade Electrician. In this role, you will undergo comprehensive training on a variety of tasks integral to the caravan assembly process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical System Installation:

• Execute precise installation of electrical systems in caravans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Use of hand and power tools
• Fitting & wiring 12V accessories such as speakers, radios, lights, power outlets, fans, etc
• Testing 12V accessories, fault finding and repairs as necessary
• Testing 240 Circuits
• Running wiring (rough-in) to specified locations as instructed
• Perform basic wiring of sway control systems, water tank sensors, brakes, etc : Carry out any other electrical works as instructed

2. Diagnostic and Repair:

• Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, implementing effective and timely solutions to ensure product quality.

3. Collaboration:

• Work closely with the assembly team to integrate electrical components seamlessly into the overall manufacturing process.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a diverse team
• Ability to be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management, meeting daily targets
• Relevant experience and knowledge

4.Quality Control:

• Conduct rigorous testing and quality checks to guarantee the reliability and safety of electrical systems within our caravans.

5.Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of electrical installations and repairs, adhering to established procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Possess a valid A Grade Electrician license, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in electrical work.
• Experience in 12V and 240Volt
• Electrical Rough-In and Fit Off
• Ability to analyse and solve complex electrical issues efficiently.
• Be adaptable to a dynamic work environment and open to learning new skills during the training process.
