The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Teacher with a passion for the Arts. The successful candidate will join our dedicated team, working part-time (0.6) from July to December 2024, to cover leave.

Reporting to the Head of the Early Learning Centre, the role of our Specialist Teacher further extends the children’s educational program in the areas of music,  movement, dance, drama, and literacy, through library borrowing each week.

The role will support and enhance development and learning of our 3-5-year old’s through the implementation of the Reggio Emilia Educational Project approach to early childhood.

This position is part time, 0.6  fixed term Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from July - December 

About You 

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Registered Teacher - VIT 
  • Have a strong interest in the Arts and education
  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
  • Be passionate, authentic and have a love for learning and teaching
  • Be Creative, energetic and have a willingness to work as part of a team
  • Current First Aid Certificate; Asthma, Anaphylaxis, CPR training
