All Rounder Operator

ConsMin produces some of the world’s highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining. Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland. Enjoy a short two-hour direct flight to enjoy our well-equipped camp and mining operation - only a five-minute drive from Woodie airport. 

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and resourceful Allrounder Operator to join our team at our site at Woodie Woodie.

Reporting to the Team Lead Mining, the successful applicant will be required to:

  • Operate varied mining fleet which consists of predominantly Cat 6020B Excavators, Cat Graders 16M, Cat Dozers D10T & D10T2 & 854K, Cat Dump Trucks 777F/G and Cat Water Carts 777F
  • Dozer - Floor clean ups to dig RL, Drill pattern preparation, Waste dump pushing and keeping RL correct and Clearing topsoil areas
  • Grader - maintaining haul roads (able to keep camber and Crown on roads), Pit haul roads and running track maintenance and Drill pattern preparation
  • Excavator - Backup operator as required, in a production environment
  • Dump Truck - Hot seating is performed on site or fill in when short staffed

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum C class drivers’ licence
  • Current National Police Clearance (No older than 6 months)
  • Significant experience operating the above machinery in an open pit production mining environment
  • Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures
  • Excellent organisational, communication skills and high attention to detail.
