About Northern Beaches Hospital
Operated by Healthscope, Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) is located in Frenchs Forest, only 13kms north of Sydney CBD. The hospital is a contemporary 488 bed facility comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds. Providing a wide range of health services to the local community, including Surgery, a 50 bed Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Birthing, Paediatrics, Cardiac, Mental Health, Dialysis, Cancer Centre and Outpatients.
NBH has 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit which includes two intensive care wards.
Northern Beaches Hospital is a dedicated facility for all patients in the local area. It was thoughtfully designed to optimise patient safety and overall experience, and to provide meaningful management and operational efficiencies that benefit everyone.

About the Role
The Day of Surgery Admissions (DOSA) provides care to patients being admitted for a theatre procedure, whether they are being admitted for a day procedure or for a longer stay. The DOSA is a 40 bed, shared public & private department.
As an Enrolled Nurse in our DOSA, you will have a strong patient-service focus, demonstrated commitment to continued service improvement, and demonstrate problem-solving skills to improve patient care outcomes. You will work across all areas of Day Surgery including pre-operative and post-operative areas. This challenging and rewarding position will utilise your abilities and see you become a valued member of the team.
To be successful:
Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA Diploma of Nursing or equivalent. Proven clinical experience in day of surgery Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills Highly developed interpersonal skills Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care Employee Benefits:
