The Company
Our client is a worldwide leader in PVC stabilizers, they are a vertically integrated company that manufactures many of its raw materials at its state-of-the-art production facilities.  The company has developed its product range to meet the growing use of PVC in the world, and currently manufactures stabilizers as well as related additives. Due to high demand they are currently looking for a Material Handler with forklift license to join their team on day shift.

Shift times:
Mon-Thurs - 6am - 4:30pm
Friday - 6am - 12:30pm

Duties and responsibilities

  • Weighing raw materials
  • Maintaining and operating of process and packaging equipment
  • Operating forklift to load and unload materials
  • Manual handling of up to 25kgs
  • Package materials and finished goods as required
  • Re-bagging materials 
  • Quality checking products 
  • Writing down batch numbers of raw materials used on the back of batch sheets provided

Skills and Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing space
  • Physically fit and able to conduct manual handling duties up to 25kg (essential)
  • Experience handling with chemicals (desirable)
  • Must hold a forklift license 
  • Drivers license and own vehicle
  • Must be flexible with working hours
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as within a team
