About the Role

This role will support the Project Managers in the running of the BMD Group Safety, Environment and Quality Systems across project sites in Canberra. This will involve:

Promoting the development and implementation of safety, environmental and quality standards that address all compliance and due diligence requirements. Conducting safety, environmental and quality audits and inspections. Preparing reports for senior management. Assisting with education and training of BMD staff in the areas of safety, environmental and quality systems. Preparing work method statements, project plans, and inspection and test plans. Developing and implementing system changes and improvements.

To be successful in this role, you will need

Qualification in work health and safety (minimum of Cert IV). Qualification in training and assessment desirable. Prior experience in the construction industry highly regarded Current knowledge of legislation, standards, and industry requirements.
