Job Description

As an Audio Designer, you will collaborate closely with the Audio Lead and other teams within the Creation Department to design and integrate a fully immersive soundscape for an upcoming cross-platform title, delivering a realistic and captivating gaming experience.

Responsibilities

  • Creating unique SFX by recording Foley using sound libraries, and creative sound design techniques
  • Integrating sounds into the game using audio middleware, game engines, and audio technical design skills
  • Contributing ideas to establish the game's sound identity
  • Collaborating with composers, mixers, and team members for a cohesive audio experience
  • Communicating regularly with the audio and production teams involved in the project

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Sound Design within the video game industry.
  • Robust portfolio showcasing your work
  • Ability to create and understand sound environments for video games.
  • Extensive knowledge of audio software (Pro Tools, REAPER, Ableton) and tools like Confluence and JIRA.
  • Understanding of technical limitations in audio optimization and formats used in gaming
  • Proficient in audio and game engines (Wwise, Unreal)
  • Skilled in recording sound effects and utilizing sound libraries to create unique original sound design
  • Good knowledge and familiarity with available sound effect libraries on the market
  • Capable of managing large sound databases clearly and logically
  • A team player with strong communication and organizational skills
