Job description
In this role as a Mechanical Fitter Technician, you should be able to work in accordance with quality work plans and procedures on scheduled and unplanned maintenance; carry out inspections, troubleshoot, test, corrective repairs on various fixed and processing plant and mining equipment, which includes but not limited to jaw and cone crushers, vibe feeders, rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, blowers, valves, piping, mechanical seals and hydraulic systems. Ensuring all documentation is completed and backlogs raised for identified faults. Experience and conversant with the technical parameters governing pump maintenance regarding, mechanical seal installation, bearing clearances, gaskets, rotors, couplings, alignment and protection devices; component removing, rebuilds and installing chutes, liners, screens, pulleys, idler and roller frames, hydraulic and pneumatic components; able to work independently will be highly regarded.
This work will be completed in a highly safe and team environment in liaison with team leads and customers site requirements. Roles available are Perth Metro, FIFO or DIDO 7/7, 8/6, 2/2 and 2/1 Rosters across the Pilbara, South-West & Goldfields for immediate start

Completed 4yrs Apprenticeship Training, hold a relevant Trade Certificate and 3 year post-apprenticeship is a must.
Able to work remotely
Having rights to work in Australian is an added advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50.00 – $85.00 per hour
