Architectural Draftsperson

Our Client, BM Webb Building Pty Ltd is an equal opportunity employer which is looking for a qualified and experienced draftsperson to join their team at Bohle, Queensland.

The position is a full time permanent role.

The suitable applicant will possess:

• a strong commitment to reliability and punctuality

• suitable qualifications as a draftsperson;

• an eagerness and willingness to learn;

• attention to detail and take pride in their work;

• advanced knowledge of Revit Enscape and minimum 2-3 years of Revit drafting/design experience

• experience with other design programs including AutoCAD

• advanced structural detailing skills

• the ability to meet deadlines within a face paced environment whilst maintaining high quality and professional drawings

• knowledge of (or a readiness to promptly become acquainted with) relevant commercial/industrial Building Codes, Australian Standards, and design guidelines

• the ability to work independently while also collaborating with the sales/construction team and external consultants in a professional manner.

Duties will include the following:

• Meeting with employer’s personnel and other construction professionals to understand construction briefs.

• Drawing sketches, plans and designs.

• Estimating material costs.

• Working to specifications, budgets and timelines.
