Steam Cleaner

As Steam Cleaner Driver Labourer you will effectively and efficiently operate steam cleaning equipment’s and vehicles including the use of high pressure steam hose to ensure adequate cleaning of streets, roads, street furniture, footpath and laneways using high pressure hose and other equipment’s to remove dirt and grease from the surface.

You are also required to:
• Follow the daily schedule and ensure that all the day’s work is completed within the service level agreements.
• Effectively communicate with team members and Supervisor/Team Leader and report any incomplete work.
• Ensure the vehicle in use is maintained in good condition and any defects are reported to the Workshop and are entered into the vehicle log book.
• Clean and maintain the vehicle/equipment and follow all plant maintenance and reporting procedures
• Responsible for the security and correct operation and use of assets, equipment and materials within the employee’s control .

Desired Skills and Experience

To work in this role you need:
• Experience on operation of steam cleaning equipment and vehicles including the use of high-pressure steam hose is preferred
• Experience in cleaning of streets, roads, street furniture, footpath and laneways using high pressure hose and other equipment to remove dirt and grease from the surface is preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work with limited supervision
• Current driver's licence with a Victorian MR (or greater) truck licence endorsement.
