The Role
Reporting to the Manager Service Enablement Futures, the Project Manager will lead an ongoing pipeline of multiple projects, working closely with project partners to co-design projects ready for the tendering process. In this role, you will achieve multiple benefits from the enablement of innovative asset and non-asset solutions for new and emerging services in urban resilience and liveability, including large scale stormwater harvesting/ infiltration, IWM, waterway naturalisation and land activation.
This will be achieved through:
Creating innovative and value for money outcomes by challenging project scope, delivery methodologies and driving best practice in capital delivery systems and processes. Building relationships with internal interface partners in Service Programs, Major Capital Delivery and Service Delivery to ensure technical objectives are met. Developing and maintaining strong external networks, customer relationships and partnerships. Managing Project budgets, schedules, forecasts and risks, and OH&S. Safe delivery and handover of defined project functional requirements within agreed parameters of time, quality and cost.
Your Skills and Experience
Proven experience with Project and Change Management Experience with the design and project management of large, complex and innovative projects including stormwater harvesting/infiltration, IWM, naturalising waterways, natural resource management and delivering multiple benefits Demonstrated experience in building collaborative external partnerships and relationships towards pathways of co-design, co-investment and co-delivery High level communication, relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills Strong project management skills, experience in having successfully implemented innovative projectsOur successful candidate will be adept at operating within ambiguity and uncertainty, and be able to identify, initiate and embed innovative new pathways through project business case development related to improving naturalisation and liveability, realising mutual benefits for traditional owners, local government and communities.
Your ability to lead change and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders will be keys to this role.
