We have MULTIPLE vacancies for a GSE mechanic within our Australian business, available for an enthusiastic and motivated trade-qualified mechanics keen to join a supportive and collaborative team on a full-time basis.

The team has developed a healthy and vibrant working environment with daily operations running with clear and effective systems, procedures, equipment, and people with an overarching commitment to safety through Zero Harm principles. 

The mechanic's position involves utilising your technical skills and experience as a tradesman to repair and maintain ground support equipment. You will report daily to the Shift Supervisor however will ultimately be under the management of the State Service Manager. Your role involves following service guidelines and data as well as repair and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard. The variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment means there is an opportunity to bring a wide collection of knowledge, skills, and experience to the role.

Position Requirements:

Mechanical Trade Certificate

Must have own tools

Must hold a current driver’s license

Experience in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical fault finding preferred

Willingness to undertake ASIC background checks for security access

Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical check

Personal Attributes:

Professional can-do attitude

Motivated and pro-active

Strong work ethic with a history of reliability

Checkable references
