What you’ll do

  • Supporting and optimising our APAC Linux estate; the continuous improvement of our tools and pipelines to ensure that our systems scale as the company grows
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge and hands on experience of hardware and software configuration applicable to the trading space; OS Optimisation, NICs & kernel tuning, Core isolation
  • Working with/implementing/supporting tooling/systems such as Puppet, Ansible, Openstack, VMWare, Kafka, Kubernetes and a suite of monitoring/logging/reporting tools (CheckMK, Nagios, Prometheus, ELK and more)
  • Support and administer our storage and backup network infrastructure (Various SAN, NAS, DAS technologies such as NetAPP, Pure, GPFS & Vast)
  • Major projects in the region such as rolling out new trading platforms, deploying new solutions as required by the business and automating/enhancing what we already have in place (iterate and improve)

What we're looking for

  • A Linux engineer who puts their team first and loves collaborating as much as they love deploying great systems and understanding how things work
  • Solid experience administering and working with Linux systems and associated tooling - knowledge of Data Centres/Hardware/trading systems is an advantage
  • Solid and demonstrable skills with programming/scripting in Bash, Python or any other languages
  • Automation focused with a proven track record of designing/delivering end to end systems and solutions
