Pay: Negotiable depending on experience

Key responsibilities include: 
 

  • Inspecting and maintaining soft and hard skirts
  • Maintenance of tips, arms, cushions, poles and rollers
  • Roller, skirts, trough idlers, returns, impact areas and frame change outs
  • Operation of belt lifters, enerpacs and comealongs
  • Tracking Frame Installations
  • Plough blade inspections and replacements
  • Use additional tooling such as spreader bars, rattle guns, hand tooling etc.
  • Conform to and promote OHS and Safe Working Practices

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications 

Candidates must be prepared to complete a pre-employment medical check and a drugs and alcohol test. Successful applicants must have rights to work in Australia and hold the following: 

Compulsory 

  • Valid WA Driver’s License 
  • Working at Heights (RIIWHS204D) 
  • Working in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202D) 
  • White Card

Preferred 

  • Previous experience working within the mining industry 
  • Gas Testing Atmospheres (BHP Sites specifically)
  • High Risk Work License
