ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Location: Kalgoorlie, Western Australia
  • Residential roles only, no FIFO
  • Permanent Full Time positions with full time hours
  • Lifestyle Roster – 7 days on 7 days off
  • 5 weeks annual leave
  • Above award salary $90 000 plus super
  • Safety boots, PPE and uniforms supplied

Wilson Security is expanding in Western Australia securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of Western Australia.  This growth has created new roles within our Kalgoorlie, WA team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in a response role with a reputable organisation on a permanent fulltime basis in the mining sector in Kalgoorlie, WA.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducting internal and external patrols of the site
  • Acting as a point of contact for visitor enquiries
  • Monitoring site activity, identifying irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons or unusual occurrences
  • Providing timely resolution to identified issues, ensuring compliance with site requirements
  • Completing daily activity and incident reports, ensuring all reporting obligations and timeframes are met
  • General administration duties as required

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Certificate II in Security Operations
  • Current and valid WA Security and Crowd Controller licence
  • Current and valid WA Manual Driver's licence
  • Must hold current valid First Aid and CPR
  • Previous security experience in a mining/resources environment will be highly regarded
  • Gate house experience
  • Confident interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to think quickly and provide timely and accurate solutions
  • Strong written communication skills
  • A commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • The ability to positively contribute to a team environment
