Expressions of Interest - Maintenance Fitter FOOD

7 day fortnight / Night Shift / 12 Hours

Maintenance Fitter - Conveyors, packaging & motors - Permanent role

Opportunity to develop a career with an Australian owned food manufacturing & processing facility in Melbourne.

Located in the SE suburbs, this permanent role will present stability, maintenance challenges & multiple opportunities to further your maintenance skills.

We are currently looking for trade qualified maintenance fitters with a background in food production or processing - preferably within a maintenance capacity.

The role will present challenges in the form of

• preventative and reactive maintenance works on conveyors
• fault finding on line machinery & motors, pipe work, hydraulics & pneumatics
• interpreting engineering drawings, some new installations and upgrades.

Ideally we will be looking for someone who possesses good knowledge of

• form, fill & seal machines
• process packaging lines, pneumatics
• electronic controllers, switches and instrumentation
• some TIG welding
• conveyors and motor control.

To qualify for this role you must possess a trade qualification and the eligibility to work within Australia.
