About the Role:
 

Our client is seeking skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join their dedicated team.

Reporting to Operations Manager, you will be responsible for operating, programming and setting CNC lathe machine to produce high-quality products according to client’ specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, good mechanical aptitude, ability to read drawings and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties:

  • Ability to operate CNC Lathes (multi axis and swiss type) proficiently and other machinery or equipment as needed in the manufacturing process
  • Ability to read and program engineering drawings, blueprints or specifications to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Ability to produce quality parts while maintaining production efficiency
  • Adherence to safety procedures

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing industry (an advantage)
  • Experience with setting and operating of CNC Lathes, multi axis and swiss type.
  • Trade qualified machinist or Fitter and Turner with significant CNC turning experience
  • Experience with Mitsubishi, Celos and Fanuc controls will be an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask
  • Professional work ethic with the ability to work autonomously and as part of the team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
