Electrician for Intelligent Transport Systems in Western Sydney Region.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and Electrician to join our team in Western Sydney, working on the maintenance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment used in ITS, including traffic signals, variable message signs, public weighbridges, and other communication and control systems. We are looking for someone that wants to be with the company for the long-term.

Responsibilities:
Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment for Intelligent Transport Systems Test and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper operation Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment Respond to service requests and perform repairs as needed Coordinate with other team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations Document work performed and maintain accurate records Provide technical guidance and training to other team members as needed Requirements:
Certification as a licensed electrician Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed Provided:

Full training is provided and will also assist with all tickets, low voltage, PRS, first aid, high risk etc. 

The system generates your workload through an iPad or tablet. You will also be available for emergency calls one in 3 or one in 4 weeks per month. On-call allowances are provided. The on-call is heavily weather dependent,

On-call allowances, 24 x 7 tech support, living away from home allowances (if you choose to work from another area for a time) are all provided.
